Davis Standard announces acquisition agreement with FB Balzanelli.
Battenfeld Cincinnati has announced that its subsidiary, the American company Davis Standard, has reached an agreement to acquire the Italian winding machine manufacturer FB Balzanelli. Winding machines play a crucial role in end-of-line automation for the extrusion of pipes and tubes, and FB Balzanelli has established itself as a preferred partner for customers worldwide. This acquisition will enhance our end-to-end extrusion solutions and establish a dedicated coiler Center of Excellence in Italy. At the Battenfeld-Cincinnati headquarters located in Vienna, Austria, we develop and manufacture extruders and related systems for the production of pipes, profiles, and other extruded products at our own factories in Austria and Germany.
