Battenfeld Cincinnati has delivered a total of 9 extruders, including 7 parallel twin-screw extruders and 2 conical twin-screw extruders, to Cortizo, a long-time customer based in Padron. Cortizo, the largest profile manufacturer in Spain, has confirmed its satisfaction with the machinery supplier through this order, increasing its total PVC extrusion lines to 28, with only one line sourced from outside our company. The partnership with Cortizo began in 2014 when Cortizo, which previously specialized in aluminum profiles, purchased its first line from us and started producing PVC profiles. Since then, Cortizo has steadily achieved success, currently processing 50,000 tons of PVC into profiles annually. With an annual production capacity of 150,000 tons of aluminum profiles and 50,000 tons of PVC profiles, Cortizo is one of Europe's leading profile manufacturers. It employs over 3,800 people across 9 manufacturing sites in Europe and has sales records in 87 countries. The profiles are primarily manufactured for the domestic Spanish and European markets.

Battenfeld Cincinnati has announced that its subsidiary, the American company Davis Standard, has reached an agreement to acquire the Italian winding machine manufacturer FB Balzanelli. Winding machines play a crucial role in end-of-line automation for the extrusion of pipes and tubes, and FB Balzanelli has established itself as a preferred partner for customers worldwide. This acquisition will enhance our end-to-end extrusion solutions and establish a dedicated coiler Center of Excellence in Italy.
