Chemix Industries has developed a wear-resistant thermoplastic TPU urethane as a material for rollers, replacing conventional thermosetting urethane. Results from wear resistance tests showed that the wear index of TPU urethane was more than 20 times better than that of thermosetting urethane. The new product, the "TPU Urethane Roller," boasts excellent durability, allowing for prolonged use, reducing issues related to wear, minimizing replacement efforts, and enabling cost savings.
