An article about a new method for electrolytic aluminum using ionic liquids from Zhejiang Landor Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd., which we represent as an agency, was published in the Chemical Industry Daily on June 17, 2025. The conventional method for electrolytic aluminum requires an electrolytic temperature of over 900°C, resulting in a high environmental burden. However, by using ionic liquids, it has become possible to reduce the electrolytic temperature to below 100°C. Additionally, since petroleum coke is not used, significant reductions in CO2 emissions during the electrolytic aluminum production process can be achieved.
