Our company has entered into a Japan-exclusive distribution agency agreement with Zhejiang Land Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd. from China, which is constructing a factory in Jiangsu Province with one of the largest production capacities for ionic liquids in the world. Ionic liquids are being utilized in various applications such as wet separators (insulating films) for lithium-ion secondary batteries (LiB), electrolyte additives, and antistatic agents for various plastics, and their application in electrolytic aluminum production is also anticipated. Our company and Zhejiang Land Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd. signed a distribution agency agreement in 2022 for sales in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and India, and both parties are working together to further promote and expand the market for ionic liquids. SW Chemicals has established a method for the stable mass production of nano-diamonds and polycrystalline diamonds using the detonation method, which synthesizes them through explosive reactions, boasting an annual production capacity of 8 tons. A new production facility has been established at their factory in South Korea, doubling their production capacity. They aim to expand their current production capacity from 8 tons per year to 30 tons per year by 2030. Nano-diamonds are being utilized in various applications as a next-generation new material with excellent physicochemical properties, including electronics, semiconductors, abrasives, biomedicine, and coatings.
