An article about nano-diamonds and polycrystalline diamonds from SW Chemicals in South Korea, which we represent as the general agent, was published in the Chemical Industry Daily on June 27, 2025. SW Chemicals has established a method for the stable mass production of nano-diamonds and polycrystalline diamonds using the detonation method, which synthesizes them through explosive reactions, boasting an annual production capacity of 8 tons. A new production facility has been established at their factory in South Korea, doubling their production capacity. They aim to expand their current production capacity from 8 tons per year to 30 tons per year by 2030. Nano-diamonds are being utilized in various applications as a next-generation new material with excellent physicochemical properties, including electronics, semiconductors, abrasives, biomedicine, and coatings.
