Our own mine in Saudi Arabia! It is magnesium oxide derived from high-purity and low-iron ore!
☆High purity and low Fe ore The raw material for magnesium oxide handled by our department is magnesite. It is possible to achieve quality equivalent to seawater-derived magnesium oxide from high purity and low Fe magnesite. While it is common to use seawater-derived products for LCD substrate glass, the magnesium oxide handled by our department has already been adopted in the same market despite being ore-derived. ☆Quality control utilizing the latest equipment The "automatic sorting device" determines purity based on the color of the ore and performs ore selection. The magnesium oxide handled by our department has a factory located in "Medina," the second holy site for Muslims after Mecca, in western Saudi Arabia. It is situated 300 km north of the major port of Jeddah and 400 km south of the mining area in Ghazala. Additionally, we also own bauxite and kaolin mines and factories in northeastern Saudi Arabia.
