This is an algorithm/engine for high-quality camera signal processing that achieves medical device and broadcast quality. It is available for sale as an IP license or as an FPGA.
The Clairvu Engine is our original camera signal processing algorithm/engine that supports 4K and achieves high-quality images comparable to those from digital single-lens reflex cameras. The ISP is also available in a licensing format. Through high-resolution, low moiré, and low noise color interpolation (CFA) processing, it generates high-quality images that rival those developed from RAW data on a PC. By applying the optimal color correction matrix according to the area in the color space, it achieves high color reproduction accuracy. The highly praised 5.2M (2560x2048) high-quality, high-speed camera VCC-5CL1M is compactly sized at 65x65x31mm and supports Camera Link output in Base, Medium, Full, and 10tap configurations. It achieves a frame rate of 140fps at 10tap output and 175fps at 4M, and is equipped with shading correction, binarization, AGC, AE, HDR (100dB), ROI, and binning (2x2, 4x4) functions. Additionally, it features a new sequence function that allows users to preset up to 8 types of parameters (ROI, gain, exposure) in the camera and switch between these 8 parameters for each frame (Auto/CC Mode). This camera can be used as a high sensitivity camera with pixel sizes of 10μm and 20μm by utilizing the binning function (2x2, 4x4). At that time, the frame rate and exposure time will be 1/2 and 1/4, respectively, making it ideal for applications that prioritize high sensitivity and S/N ratio, such as ITS, medical imaging processing devices, SPI, AOI, substrate inspection devices, PTP inspection, pharmaceutical inspection, FPD inspection, semiconductor manufacturing process inspection, and various imaging device applications.
