The CIS CoaXPress camera series offers products equipped with near-infrared sensitive sensors, ranging from low to high resolution. By adopting ON Semiconductor's CMOS sensors, these cameras provide approximately 1.7 times the sensitivity at a wavelength of 900 nm and about twice the sensitivity at wavelengths of 1,000 to 1,050 nm compared to sensors that do not support near-infrared. ~~~Examples of applications using near-infrared~~~ Food inspection... Can inspect damaged areas of vegetables and fruits. Packaging inspection... Can inspect for foreign matter contamination and content entrapment without opening the package.
