Coherent Inc. released the compact, high-power (1kW to 4kW) industrial semiconductor laser 'HighLight DL HPS' with an integrated module on April 16, 2020. Despite having the laser head, power supply, water cooling chiller, and heat exchanger all housed in a single unit, the dimensions of the unit are only 670x1050x1760mm, making it suitable for applications with space constraints. Coherent Inc. announced the 'Astrella HE' at Photonics West 2020 on February 10, 2020, achieving a record high energy (9mJ@1kHz) in commercially available One-BOX type femtosecond amplifiers. This product is the same size as the existing Astrella regenerative amplifier, featuring a compact One-BOX design and user-friendly operating software. In January 2020, our compact continuous wave visible light laser "Sapphire" series reached a cumulative shipment of 50,000 units worldwide. This series was introduced to the world as an ideal light source (488nm) for replacing gas lasers, which had issues with energy efficiency, in the life sciences field, successfully entering the market. Since then, we have maximized the advantages of our unique OPSL (Optically Pumped Semiconductor Laser) technology and have continued to expand the wavelength and output models to meet market needs for over 20 years.

This model is suitable for metal processing applications such as cladding, thermal processing, and brazing, offering unparalleled convenience and cost performance. The HighLight DL4000HPR features several attractive characteristics for both equipment manufacturers and end users.
