Organic pigments (Pigment division)

The word "pigment" is not often heard in our daily lives, but it can generally be said that what people perceive as color is mostly colored by either dyes or pigments. So, to put it simply, the difference between dyes and pigments is that pigments are colorants that do not dissolve in solvents, while dyes are colorants that do dissolve in solvents.
