Detectors and sensors that detect charge (charge) proportional to the strength of energy include APD (Avalanche Photodiode), PMT (Photomultiplier Tube: Photomultiplier), and MEMS capacitive accelerometers. In charge-sensitive preamplifiers, an output proportional to the amount of charge received from the detector is obtained. Gaussian shaping amplifiers shape long tail pulse waveforms into Gaussian function waveforms. This explains the configuration of creating a time difference with the T560 delay/pulse generator and measuring the time difference with the MCS8A multi-stop TDC/TOF.

To accurately and precisely create multiple pulses with a long time delay (delay) at a resolution of picoseconds (ps) and to measure that time difference accurately and precisely, general equipment cannot achieve the required precision or resolution at all. - The T560 Delay/Pulse Generator can set the delay time and pulse width individually for 4 channels in increments of 10 ps, up to a maximum of 10 seconds. - The MCS8A Multi-Stop TDC/TOF can detect the time difference between the START signal and the 8 input STOP signals in increments of 80 ps, up to a maximum of 8.3 days.
