Case Study: Marine (Tanker) Zirconia Oxygen Analyzer
Active in a wide range of fields including electronics, industry, and healthcare. We have picked up selected cases and compiled them into a case study collection.
When transporting heavy oil with a tanker, friction between the heavy oil and air inside the tank can cause an explosion due to turbulence during operation. To prevent this, tankers mix nitrogen or inert gases with the air to avoid explosions. Nitrogen is generated using a nitrogen generation unit, and inert gases are reused from boiler exhaust. This is called the Inert Gas System (I.G.S). Our oxygen meters are incorporated into the I.G.S, measuring the O2 concentration in the exhaust gas, and are actively used worldwide to prevent explosions during operation, as well as during loading and unloading. Achievements: Over 1,000 vessels. Target models: TB-2F series *There are many other industries where our products are actively used. Please download our case study collection and consult with us.
