Our company conducts activity analysis using the WST method, which can detect SOD activity (superoxide dismutase activity) with high sensitivity. We have a track record of analyzing SOD-like activity in functional foods, cosmetic ingredients, and extracts from plants, among others. The antioxidant capacity of food is thought to be related to the microbial flora in the body, and it can be viewed as a simple method to evaluate the radical scavenging activity possessed by food.
