Type 87/88 Air-operated Diaphragm Actuator & Type 51 Double-acting Cylinder Actuator
Introducing air-operated diaphragm actuators and double-acting cylinder actuators!
The air-operated diaphragm actuator and double-acting cylinder actuator are devices that serve as the source of driving force for operating control valves. They can be applied to all reciprocating valves manufactured by Nippon Dresser. The standard operating actuator of the "87/88 type air-operated diaphragm actuator" is designed so that when the operating air pressure exceeds the spring setting pressure, it applies pressure to the upper surface of the diaphragm, causing the actuator stem to descend. The "51 type double-acting cylinder actuator" is designed with a focus on control for use with control valves. It achieves high output and high rigidity while being compact and lightweight. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Japan Dresser, as part of Baker Hughes, primarily manufactures and sells fluid control valves and instruments for the energy equipment industry, including oil and gas, as well as for power generation. The Kariba plant in Kariba County, Niigata Prefecture, has established a new corporate foundation as a global company, serving as one of the production bases for automatic control valves in China, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. Additionally, in recent years, we have introduced 3D printers and are working on the manufacturing of specially designed automatic control valve components for various applications in energy industry plants.
