The 82 series - New version with M12 connector overmolded processing has started selling.
We are pleased to announce the launch of a new overmolded version of the EAO 82 series, featuring an M12 connector. This new version meets the IP67 protection rating for rear panel protection and allows for easy connections as part of the illuminated pushbutton switch in the 82 series. Switches and indicator lights are often used under very harsh operating conditions. For example, in the food and beverage industry, alkaline cleaning agents and corrosion can have a serious impact on HMIs. Furthermore, external factors such as difficult-to-remove dirt, fine dust, and the intense vibrations and shocks commonly encountered in heavy machinery and special vehicle applications require HMIs to provide a very high level of resistance. This product meets such stringent requirements and offers reliable enhanced protection. The attractively designed illuminated pushbutton switch features a housing made of SUS 316L stainless steel and an illuminated part made of Tritan, which is resistant to cleaning agents. These design features provide protection against damage and ensure uniform transparency in dot or ring illumination.

EAO Japan opens the EAO HMI Lab Tokyo, where you can experience all series of switches in one place.
It has been 25 years since the Swiss switch manufacturer EAO began providing switches to Japan, and now many EAO products are actively used mainly in the fields of railway vehicles, industrial machinery, and heavy and special vehicles. To help you learn more about the wonderful innovative EAO products, we have opened the EAO HMI Lab Tokyo at the EAO Japan headquarters office (3-1-4 Mita, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Net.1 Mita Building 3F), where you can actually see, touch, and experience the entire series of switches. EAO's switch products are categorized by series numbers based on size, function, performance, and design, and at the HMI Lab, you can "experience" the differences between series, the tactile feel, and the aesthetic functionality in a way that is close to actual applications. Additionally, we have prepared content that introduces the next-generation switches and demonstrates important performance tests required for switches, such as waterproofing, through live demonstrations and videos. If you are in the area for business trips or other reasons, please feel free to stop by. We aim to provide a wonderful experience that connects you with Swiss design and quality, inspiring new ideas and creativity.
