The TECHSPEC near-ultraviolet achromatic lens is designed to minimize the focal spot size of polychromatic illumination in the 345-700nm range. It is ideal for use in fluorescence applications and for simple focusing applications of common UV light sources represented by mercury arc lamps, UV LEDs, and YAG tripled laser. This product, featuring a simple resin adhesive design in a doublet configuration, serves as an attractive alternative to doublet and triplet lenses with airspace configurations that function in the UV range. It achieves over 90% transmission at 360nm and over 50% transmission at 334nm.
