TECHSPEC precision glass aspheric lenses are designed to focus divergent light sources, such as the output from laser diodes, while eliminating spherical aberration. They allow for an increase in the lens's numerical aperture (NA) while minimizing system aberrations. By using aspheric lenses instead of spherical lenses, it is also possible to reduce the number of lenses required throughout the system.
