basic information

Micro lens arrays help to achieve uniform intensity from various state-of-the-art light sources, such as narrow excimer lasers and high-power LEDs. These lenses are ideal for applications that require high efficiency and non-Gaussian distribution. Since all lens arrays are made from UV-grade synthetic quartz, they exhibit excellent performance across the wavelength range of 193 nm to 2.5 μm. The lens arrays are manufactured using standard semiconductor fabrication techniques, ensuring that the lens profiles are very precise and that the positioning of each lens within the array is accurately aligned. By generating line light with a single lens array and using two arrays in a crossed configuration, it is possible to produce square-shaped flat-top (uniform intensity) light. Edmund Optics offers lens arrays in two configurations.
