Synthetic quartz ball lens & hemispherical lens
Synthetic quartz with high transmittance from ultraviolet (UV) to infrared (IR)! Ball lenses and hemispherical lenses.
Synthetic quartz glass has high transmittance in the wavelength range of 200 nm to 2.2 μm and low thermal expansion characteristics. Ball lenses made from this glass are ideal for applications that require stringent demands using ultraviolet, visible, and near-infrared spectra. Additionally, the hemispherical lens, which is half the shape of a ball lens, has the advantage of being easier to join to fiber optic end faces than a ball lens. It is optimal for fiber optic communication, endoscopes, and high NA objective lens SIL (Solid Immersion Lens), among others. ■ Excellent UV transmittance ■ Low thermal expansion coefficient ■ High precision design *You can download the catalog from Edmund Optics Japan that features this product from the link below.
