The TECHSPEC Right Angle Prism Mirror (Coated Type) features a metallic film on the prism's sloped surface. Like a right angle prism, the right angle prism mirror is used to bend the light path by 90°, but the light reflects totally on the metallic film surface without entering the glass substrate. Therefore, the reflection efficiency is not affected by the light transmission properties of the glass. Additionally, compared to flat mirrors, there is the advantage of easily installing the metallic film surface at a 45° angle. This product in the coated type has a square opening on the front of the reflective surface.
