The TECHSPEC λ/8 precision parabolic mirror uses borofloat glass with excellent thermal stability for the substrate and is available in sizes ranging from 76.2mm to 412.8mm in diameter. It is ideal for a wide range of applications. The metallic coatings for enhanced reflectivity are available in all four standard types from Edmund Optics. Additionally, uncoated options are available for convenient custom coating. The 412.8mm diameter mirror features a special grinding process on the back side of the substrate, achieving a 40% weight reduction compared to standard mirror blanks of the same size.
