This is a precision focusing mirror made using fine annealed Pyrex glass (or equivalent glass) with excellent thermal stability. It has a substrate surface accuracy of λ/8, making it ideal for research and development applications as well as for precision telescopes. The backside and edge surfaces of the substrate are finished with a sand surface. Coating options for the substrate surface include all four standard types from Edmund Optics. Please use the uncoated product as a mirror blank when special mirror coatings are required.
