This is a window made with Borofloat (borosilicate glass) from Schott (Germany), which excels in heat resistance and is ideal for use under harsh conditions. Borofloat is manufactured using the float method and has a substrate surface accuracy of 4 to 6 λ per inch (25.4 mm). As a result, it minimizes wavefront distortion and has excellent light transmission across a wide wavelength range.
