Infrared plastic sheet

High transparency in the infrared wavelength range. Available in two types: translucent white sheet and opaque white sheet.

This is a white sheet molded from polyethylene-based resin. It has high transparency in the infrared wavelength range. Due to its thin sheet shape, cutting and processing with scissors and other tools is easy. Edmund Optics offers two types of translucent white sheets that allow objects behind them to be seen and opaque white sheets. While there are differences in transmission characteristics in the visible range for each sheet, there are no differences in the same characteristics in the infrared range. ■ Ideal focusing lens for infrared detectors ■ Low absorption loss in the 8-14μm range ■ Easy to cut by oneself ■ Also applicable for terahertz (THz) imaging *You can download the catalog of Edmund Optics Japan from the link below.
