basic information
By changing the substrate of the holographic diffuser to synthetic quartz glass, we have enabled light diffusion applications across a wide range from ultraviolet to near-infrared. The hologram pattern on the substrate surface is also made from the same material through sol-gel processing. We achieve a high transmission efficiency of around 70% even at a wavelength of 200nm on the ultraviolet short wavelength side. Additionally, the use of synthetic quartz glass with a low coefficient of thermal expansion improves the maximum operating temperature. Edmund Optics offers a total of 10 types of diffusion angles, ranging from 0.5° to 50°. All of them come in a framed type with an aluminum gold frame, and you can choose between two sizes: frame diameters of 25mm and 50mm.
