Synthetic quartz-made frosted glass diffuser (diffusion plate)
Excellent light transmission from ultraviolet (UV) to near-infrared (NIR). A frosted glass-type diffuser characterized by homogeneous diffusion and low scattering loss.
Frosted glass-type diffusers (diffusion plates) are adapted for use in various industrial applications by combining high-quality sandblasting processing with glass substrate materials. One side of the substrate is processed with 220-grit sandblasting to create a matte finish, and the sandblasting is performed not only from one direction but also in a two-dimensional manner from both vertical and horizontal directions, achieving uniform diffusion across the entire surface. The frosted synthetic quartz glass substrate has excellent light transmission properties from ultraviolet to near-infrared. ■ Uniform diffusion surface ■ Ideal for applications utilizing UV wavelengths ■ Low scattering loss ■ Float glass substrates also available *The catalog of Edmund Optics Japan can be downloaded from the link below.
