basic information

The high-energy cube-type polarizing beam splitter is easy to install and serves as a candidate for replacing Brewster windows due to its high contrast performance. The high-energy cube-type polarizing beam splitter achieves over 99.9% reflection of s-polarized light and over 98% transmission of p-polarized light. Additionally, it has a substrate surface accuracy of λ/8 to minimize wavefront distortion. This polarizing element is constructed from two UV-grade synthetic quartz right-angle prisms that are joined using the optical contact method instead of adhesive bonding to enhance laser durability. The high-energy cube-type polarizing beam splitter is available for use with common Nd:YAG laser wavelengths.
