Medium wave & long wave infrared zero-order wavelength plate (phase difference plate)

A lineup of λ/2 and λ/4 plates at design wavelengths in the range of 3 to 9 μm. Wavelength plates for mid to long-wave infrared (phase difference plates).

Medium Wave Infrared (MWIR) and Long Wave Infrared (LWIR) zero-order wave plates (phase plates) are designed for applications in the 3 to 9 μm range. Compared to multi-order wave plates, zero-order wave plates offer a wider bandwidth of usable wavelengths and lower sensitivity to temperature changes. We offer λ/2 plates and λ/4 plates for each design wavelength. They can be used for various infrared applications. All plates are coated with anti-reflective films and are secured with a gold frame to facilitate system integration. ■ Ideal for applications in the 3 to 9 μm range ■ Available in λ/2 plates and λ/4 plates ■ Framed design for easy alignment and system integration *The catalog from Edmund Optics Japan can be downloaded from the link below.
