Plate-type beam splitter

Low-cost design. A plate-type beam splitter that can accommodate custom sizes and R/T ratios.

Float glass is used as the substrate, and a metal film, dielectric multilayer film, or hybrid film is applied to its surface to achieve a specified R/T characteristic (generally, the 30R/70T type uses a metal (Inconel) film, the 70R/30T type uses a dielectric multilayer film, and the 50R/50T type uses a hybrid film). In visible light, it is divided into the following R/T ratios, with a small portion of light being absorbed. Designed for non-polarized light at a 45° incidence. A type with a single coat of MgF2 on the back side of the substrate is also available. This is effective in reducing ghost images. For inquiries about custom sizes or different R/T ratios, please contact our sales department. ■ Low-cost design ■ Multiple sizes available ■ A variety of R/T branching ratios available *You can download the catalog from Edmund Optics Japan that features this product from the link below.
