Amichi Prism (Daha Prism)
A prism that is optimal for converting an inverted image state produced by a lens optical system into an upright image.
It has the same angle configuration as a right-angle prism (90°, 45°, 45°), but the sloping surface (reflective surface) has a roof-shaped structure of a right-angle two-mirror. This surface causes a 90° deviation in the inverted image state when light is incident vertically. It is ideal for converting the inverted image state produced by lens optical systems into an upright image. It is widely used in optical systems such as single-lens reflex cameras and microscopes. ■ 90° deviation prism ■ Forms an inverted image due to the roof surface ■ The roof surface has an angular resolution of 6 seconds ■ The roof surface (roof mirror) is available in uncoated and silver-coated options *You can download the catalog from Edmund Optics Japan below.
