basic information
Norland Products' optical adhesive from the United States is a colorless, transparent, single-component adhesive that is ideal for optical applications. It contains no solvents. When exposed to ultraviolet light, it undergoes initial curing (gelation) within seconds and fully cures within minutes, resulting in a hard and elastic adhesive. Designed for quick and precise bonding applications, this product simplifies all processes that require critical alignment and accurate positioning. It is an effective and easy-to-use UV-curable resin. To use this adhesive, apply it to the parts to be bonded and take your time to determine the bonding position. Next, expose it to UV light for a few seconds to initiate curing. If there are no issues with positioning, continue to expose it to UV light until fully cured. The shelf life of products shipped from Norland is 6 months for NOA60, 63, 65, 85, and 107, and 4 months for all others. *You can download the catalog from Edmund Optics Japan that features this product from the link below.
