Anamorphic prism pair

All products are sold individually as standard specifications. We will supply them with a short delivery time due to complete stock availability.

Anamorphic prisms are used to enlarge the size of a laser beam in one axial direction. They are ideal for expanding only one direction (the short axis direction) of the elliptical beam emitted from a typical laser diode, transforming it into a shape that is nearly circular. Composed of two identical prisms, they can achieve an aspect ratio enlargement from 2:1 to 6:1 by placing the prisms in a specified positional relationship to each other. The anti-reflective coatings applied to the entrance and exit surfaces of the prisms offer two options. The NIR I multi-coating functions over a wide wavelength range of 600 to 1050 nm, providing excellent performance with red semiconductor lasers such as 635 nm and 670 nm. In contrast, the coating for 405 nm uses a V-coating optimized for blue-violet lasers. *You can download the catalog from Edmund Optics Japan that features this product from the link below.
