COHERENT Thermopile Power Sensor

All products are sold individually as standard specification items. We offer short delivery times due to complete stock availability.

The Coherent thermopile power sensor is the ideal solution for measuring the power of CW lasers and the energy of pulsed lasers. The thermopile sensor functions by absorbing the incident laser radiation, converting it into heat, and then transferring that heat to a heat sink. The temperature difference between the heat absorption area and the heat sink is converted into an electrical signal via a thermocouple junction. Unlike semiconductor sensors, thermopile sensors do not experience saturation. Additionally, the spectral range of the sensor is determined by the energy absorption coating.
