This is a high-stability optical chopper capable of frequency modulation, composed of multiple photo-etched chopping disks. There are two types available based on the type of disk: a standard version and a dual frequency version. The standard version, consisting of five disks, covers a frequency range of 5Hz to 20kHz with all five disks. In contrast, the dual frequency version, made up of four disks, covers a range of 7.5Hz to 6kHz with all four disks. The chopping disks, made of non-magnetic, semi-hard brass, are designed for easy attachment and detachment from the head section, allowing for not only single disk use but also the possibility of stacking two disks for various applications.
