basic information

This is an objective lens designed for biological microscopes. Therefore, optical aberration correction is optimized, including the cover glass (0.17mm) placed on the specimen. You can choose between achromatic objective lenses that correct for chromatic aberration and plan objective lenses that correct for both chromatic aberration and field curvature. The thread specifications adopt the international standard RMS standard (M20.32(=0.8”)x0.706(36TPI)), allowing connection to most biological microscope products. Objective lenses with a magnification of 40X or higher, which have a short working distance, are equipped with a spring cushioning mechanism. This spring, built into the tube, prevents the cover glass from breaking if the objective lens accidentally contacts the specimen. Additionally, the 100X objective lens is designed for use with the immersion oil method. Please be sure to use immersion oil when using it. Made in China. *You can download the catalog from Edmund Optics Japan that features this product from the link below.
