The TECHSPEC absorptive ND filter and TECHSPEC anti-reflective ND filter have been fixed to a camera lens mount of M25.5 x 0.5 or M30.5 x 0.5, allowing them to be connected to camera lenses with the same mount. ND filters are used to limit the amount of light reaching the image sensor surface of the camera system. By adjusting the incident light amount using the ND filter instead of the aperture on the camera lens, the depth of field of the image is restricted, eliminating stereoscopic errors and other image errors.
