basic information
The Dynamic Focus VZM lens is equipped with an internal liquid crystal lens, allowing for seamless and easy focus adjustments within an optical magnification range of 0.65X to 4.6X (7X zoom ratio) while maintaining the zoom capabilities of the original VZM video zoom lens. This lens also features a variable aperture ring and zoom ring with locking screws, as well as a camera rotation adapter that allows for adjustment of the lens orientation relative to the camera. The fixed base ring (removable) inside the barrel enables the VZM lens body to be secured to a φ50mm ring-type rack and pinion movement (#03-609). The liquid crystal lens can be controlled via a durable Hirose 6-pin connector or USB port, but manual adjustments are also possible for coarse magnification adjustments. The included software allows for focus adjustments of the Dynamic Focus VZM lens using square waves, sine waves, or sawtooth waves.
