List of IR Lenses

Short delivery time for stock sales! All items available for sale from just one piece.

Edmund Optics offers a variety of high-performance IR lenses that achieve excellent performance across a wide range of the infrared spectrum, including singlet lenses, achromatic lenses, aspheric lenses, and condenser objective lenses. Infrared achromatic lenses are ideal for various applications, including FTIR spectroscopy and use with tunable QCL lasers, in industries such as life sciences and defense. ZnSe infrared aspheric lenses utilize a diffraction-limited design, making them perfect for focusing CO2 laser output to a point. We also offer other infrared-transmitting substrates, including germanium, sapphire, silicon, zinc selenide, and zinc sulfide. Options for anti-reflective coatings include VIS-NIR, NIR I, NIR II, Telecom-NIR, and SWIR. For more details, please visit the official Edmund Optics website via the link below.

basic information

IR lenses are used for focusing and collimating light in the near-infrared, short-wave infrared, mid-wave infrared, or long-wave infrared spectrum. IR lenses are optical lenses that adopt specific substrates and anti-reflective coatings to maximize performance for applications using wavelengths over 700nm, including thermal imaging, infrared night vision (FLIR), and spectroscopy. The infrared spectrum refers to the wavelength range of 700 – 16000nm. When further subdivided, the near-infrared (NIR) ranges from 700 – 900nm, short-wave infrared (SWIR) from 900 – 2300nm, mid-wave infrared (MWIR) from 3000 – 5000nm, and long-wave infrared (LWIR) from 8000 – 12000nm.
