List of low GDD ultra-short pulse mirrors
Short delivery time with stock sales! All items available for sale from just one piece.
Edmund Optics is expanding its lineup of low GDD mirrors designed for harmonic generation with titanium sapphire and erbium-doped fiber lasers. Our low GDD mirrors are coated using ion beam sputtering (IBS) to minimize scattering and absorption, as well as to enhance coating uniformity and durability. If you require custom low GDD mirrors with specific wavelengths or sizes for your application, please contact us. ■ For more details, please visit the official Edmund Optics website via the link below.
basic information
Low group delay dispersion (GDD) mirrors for ultra-short pulses are used to reflect ultra-short pulse beams without imparting any temporal dispersion to the laser pulses. These mirrors utilize dielectric coatings optimized to achieve minimal GDD and high reflectivity over a narrow bandwidth centered around the design wavelength. In many cases, they are designed for beam steering of ultra-short pulses at incident angles of 0° or 45°. Low GDD mirrors have higher reflectivity and damage thresholds compared to silver-coated mirrors for ultra-short pulses, making them more suitable for high-power femtosecond lasers.
