IBS (Ion Beam Sputtering) coated optics achieve the highest possible performance levels for demanding laser optics applications. Thanks to IBS technology, it is possible to manufacture IBS laser line mirrors with over 99.99% reflectivity and high laser damage thresholds, IBS laser line lenses and IBS laser line windows with low-loss anti-reflective coatings, and IBS laser line filters with steep transition characteristics that can withstand high laser energy. The IBS coatings applied to these optical components form a dense, non-porous, homogeneous coating layer, resulting in drift-free performance that is less affected by temperature. Optics with IBS coatings exhibit very low absorption and scattering characteristics, making them suitable for various film deposition processes due to their minimal surface defects.
