LED ring lights are used to provide uniform radial illumination around a lens for optical and imaging applications. The LED ring light is fixed around the imaging lens and directs light towards the object being inspected. Because LED ring lights produce uniform and direct light, they are suitable for reducing shadow generation on non-reflective objects and providing even illumination. A compact version of the standard LED ring light is also available for inspecting small-sized imaging lenses or small objects.
