The "KTM Novatite Extreme Ball Valve" features the characteristics of API 598 bi-directional sealing and is a floating metal seat ball valve that has undergone design verification testing in a temperature range of -50 to 500°C. To achieve reliable performance under harsh operating conditions, surface hardening treatment of the ball and seat with chromium carbide using HVOF has been implemented. Through a unique manufacturing and finishing process for the ball and seat, excellent sealing performance suitable for gas applications has been achieved.
