The KTM Dual-V is a proven valve that combines the functions of a control valve and a block valve. The unique Dual-V ball valve can control small flow rates at minimal openings with its V-shaped edge (small). The V-shaped edge (large) can shear solids and maintenance materials, allowing for high flow rates without clogging. The Dual-V ball has an extremely high rangeability of 250:1. **Features** - Can control small flow rates with a small V-shaped edge for minimal openings. - The large V-shaped edge can shear solids and maintain substances, allowing for high flow rates without clogging. - Extremely high rangeability of 250:1. - Flow characteristics are equal percentage. - As a rotary valve, it allows for smooth operation without clogging due to the shearing action of the V-shaped ball and seat. - Features a Stellite overlay and incorporates a spring-loaded metal seat for excellent sealing performance. - Seat allowable leakage rate is ANSI/FCI 70-2 Class 5. - Designed as a one-piece body to minimize the effects of piping stress. - The body cavity is small, reducing fluid accumulation. - Packing structure ensures reliable containment of fluids, regardless of whether they are flammable or non-flammable. - Can be manufactured in both flanged and flange-less types. - The gland packing can be easily retightened without disassembling the drive unit and valve. - The automation top flange is an integrated structure with the body (optional). - The open and closed positions of the valve can be identified from the outside.
