[Project Introduction] Modification Work for Hitachi Inkjet Printers
Introducing a case where existing machinery was modified to accommodate water-soluble ink.
We would like to introduce a case where we received a request from a customer in the automotive industry to modify an existing inkjet printer from oil-based ink to water-based ink. The customer was using a Hitachi inkjet printer at their overseas factory for printing on automotive parts, but due to changes in the printing locations on the parts, they could no longer use oil-based ink. We conducted printing tests with water-soluble ink suitable for the customer's equipment and materials, trying multiple times until the customer was satisfied. We modified one unit in advance and conducted verification tests.
