The "HNSW" is a zinc die-cast hinge that can be used for safety switches and monitoring of doors and covers, such as those on devices and safety fences. When the door is opened, the switch contacts operate. The NC contact cuts off the circuit upon the door's opening, while simultaneously the NO contact notifies that the door has been opened.
