The "MOC" is an Oldham-type flexible coupling. The spacer is made from environmentally friendly recycled carbon fiber reinforced resin. The hub and spacer allow for significant eccentricity and angular misalignment due to slippage. It complies with the group standard (TES 1403) of the Japan Machine Tool Builders' Association.
