The "CK Perfect Lock" is a mechanical joint composed of the joint body, bag nut, and split ring. There is no need for troublesome chamfering work. The pipe insertion opening is oval-shaped, so if the bag nut is forgotten to be tightened, leaks can be detected during water pressure or air pressure testing.
