We would like to introduce a case study of updating an old robot that has been used for many years to supply workpieces to NC lathes at Company O, a manufacturer of piping components. In addition to simply replacing aging equipment, there was a request to "increase the variety of workpieces to be automated," leading to the requirement for a single robot to handle a wide range of workpieces, both large and small.
