The Fast Tech Drill Sharpener can grind drills from 3mm to 20mm into an optimal flat shape for thin plate drilling, regardless of whether the operator is a beginner or a veteran. Furthermore, by grinding the second relief angle, it can also grind to a split point (X-shining), making it a revolutionary drill sharpener. By holding the drill in a collet holder and positioning it, you simply insert it into the grinding unit to grind the flat shape, the second relief angle, and the split point (X-shining). The holder, which incorporates unique patented technology with built-in bearings, prevents collet wear, eliminating concerns about drill misalignment. You can also adjust the chisel width by adjusting the second grinding unit. Broken drills that are not used in the factory and drills that have lost their cutting edge can be easily restored, contributing to cost reduction and efficiency within the company. A CBN wheel for high-speed steel drills is included as standard, but if you use the optional SDC wheel, it is also possible to grind carbide drills. ■It is ideal for re-sharpening drills used for drilling holes in thin plates such as steel plates, steel frames, and H-shaped steel. ■When using a regular drill to make through holes in thin plates, burrs can occur on the back side, but by using a drill sharpened to a chisel shape, the occurrence of burrs can be suppressed. ■The optimal thickness of steel plates for holes suitable for chisel sharpening is up to 1/2 of the diameter of the hole being drilled. For example, if the plate thickness is 10 mm, a drill sharpened to a chisel shape is suitable for drilling holes with a diameter of 5.0 mm or less.
